Dexter at the Dog Beach
Dexter stands on the edge of Lake Michigan on this unusually warm Halloween.

There are photos of him dressed up like a jack-o-lanturn uploaded to flickr too, but this pic was my favorite from the day.

He's made so much progress! His confidence grows each day, and he finally seems to understand what being a dog is all about. Of course this sometimes leads to things like chewing on trash (he likes q-tips...ewww), but overall he is extremely well behaved. He is playful, but still often wary of new people. He no longer growls/barks at new people, which is pretty amazing progress for just over a month.

He has gained almost a pound, but it looks like more because his fur is filling out.

I found the pumpkin photo on my computer and laughed for a good 3 minutes...I had completely forgotten about it. I'm surprised my wife let me get away with such a potentially dangerous activity. :)
