Dexter at the Dog Beach
Dexter stands on the edge of Lake Michigan on this unusually warm Halloween.

There are photos of him dressed up like a jack-o-lanturn uploaded to flickr too, but this pic was my favorite from the day.

Dexter looks so happy :) How's he doing? He looks like he's put on weight, buy maybe his furs just growing back.
I love the flaming pumpkin!

He's made so much progress! His confidence grows each day, and he finally seems to understand what being a dog is all about. Of course this sometimes leads to things like chewing on trash (he likes q-tips...ewww), but overall he is extremely well behaved. He is playful, but still often wary of new people. He no longer growls/barks at new people, which is pretty amazing progress for just over a month.

He has gained almost a pound, but it looks like more because his fur is filling out.

I found the pumpkin photo on my computer and laughed for a good 3 minutes...I had completely forgotten about it. I'm surprised my wife let me get away with such a potentially dangerous activity. :)

I agree! :) Under normal circumstances "robust" might be a bit strong, but compared to a month ago he is the master bodybuilder of poodles.
