I'd hate to be on the team of people who have to count the grains of rice they donate.

Indeed. Maybe they could employ unskilled workers in 3rd world countries as a way to bring labor/income as well.

It is so addicting. I got up to 39 tonight, a new record high! It's probably not the best way to improve my vocab long-term (ideally, I would learn the words in context), but better than the near-nothing I have done to improve my brain since college graduation.

I did it for a while yesterday, while I was running some things through my scanner. I was usually fluctuating between 38 and 41. Most of the words I figured out by looking for root words--or by process of elimination and whatnot. It was very fun, though. I think I'll keep going back to that site when I'm bored. (And thanks for posting it!)

It does make you wonder what their plan is for "counting" the rice. Hopefully they've just figured out that a certain number of ounces equals a certain number of grains. And I suppose, chances are, none of the recipients of any donated rice are going to count the grains to make sure they're getting shorted.

The process of elimination is indeed a fine weapon in the battle for rice. If you asked me to define the words without options to guess from, my score would plummet to the 20s.

I'm a little bummed about rice since hearing that it produces a lot of methane. Sometimes having information is such a sad, sad thing.

I got up to level 43 at one point, but I couldn't keep it there for long.

Miss you!

This is amazing. It is GRE prep and famine reduction all rolled into one convenient, addicting package.
